"I'm sitting here drinking my morning cup of coffee. I'm thinking about how frustrating it would feel if I couldn't have something that brings me so much comfort. Since Silas was born, he's been fed through a tube that pokes out of his belly. It's been his chance at a life he otherwise wouldn't have. It's been our best friend for nearly five years. As much as we love his feeding tube, it's never been something we have just settled for."
